Treat yourself to a Mahiya Masahe, or Magic Massage. The resort’s therapists offer a range of massage techniques. They also use special essential oils, a guarantee for total relaxation. The resort’s manicure/pedicure specialist knows better than anyone how to treat tired hands and feet. Try a wonderful foot scrub, or a new colour for your nails and you’ll feel as good as new!
Magic Island Resort’s spacious restaurant offers a great variety of traditional Philippine cuisine and also European dishes like a delicious pasta or a refreshing salad. There is also an extensive vegetarian menu. The resort’s bar serves Philippine San Miguel beer, wine and fabulous cocktails and, of course, fresh fruit shakes.
At Magic Island Resort there are normally three day boat dives and a night dive each day. The dive sites are relative close by (maximum 20 minutes by boat) so you will normally come back to the dive centre between dives unless you’re doing a double tank morning dive. For double tank morning dives you will go to a beautiful white sandy beach for your surface interval and be back at the resort in time for lunch.
Dives from the resort include the house reef, local Moalboal costal dives and offshore Pescador Island. One of the most famous underwater sights at Moaboal is the huge ball of Sardines!
Magic point – the resort’s house reef!
Walk from the dive centre straight into the water for a relaxing dive on Magic Island Resort’s fabulous house reef by day or night. On your return you can rinse your gear and take a shower. The resort’s fantastic house reef (a drop off) is just in front of the dive centre and there’s lots to see. Schools of Jacks and Tuna hunting on a pristine reef covered with hard, soft and fan corals. There are also Frogfish in black, yellow and grey! There are always Turtles around and even while snorkelling you’re bound to see them. A Whale Shark and several Whitetip Reef Sharks have also been seen on the house reef! During a night dive you can see Decorator Crabs, Cuttlefish, Nudibranchs, Snake Eels, Sea Snakes and much more.
