Magic Oceans Resort is located in Anda, on the east coast of the green island of Bohol. The resort overlooks the ocean, surrounded by a steep rocky wall, jungle and a tropical fruit nursery. At Magic Oceans Resort 16 bungalows are hidden in lush green surroundings. The resort is home to a fabulous house reef teeming with life that is great for both divers and snorkelers and easy to access directly from the resort. After a day out diving what better way to relax than with a cocktail by the pool, followed by a delicious dinner in the restaurant.
Magic Ocean Resort’s 16 bungalows have modern native style furniture including a king size bed and a day bed which can be used as a sofa or an extra bed when needed. There is a closet that houses a safe, a fully stocked mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities, a desk with good lighting for those that travel with camera gear and super-silent air-conditioning.
The bungalows balconies are big yet cosy with bamboo seats and a towel rack and offer amazing views of both sea and land. The bathrooms are spacious with a hot powerful shower. Amenities such as towels, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer are provided. You will find plenty of room to store your toiletries. There is also a basket provided for the in-house laundry service. All rooms have additional towels for the pool and free unlimited mineral water.
At Magic Oceans Resort you can enjoy a relaxing massage in one of their tranquil and secluded spaces, surrounded by tropical flora. A complete spa is scheduled to open in 2018 to provide even more relaxation options.
Magic Oceans Resort’s restaurant offers a wide range of Filipino dishes as well as other Asian and Western style food all made with fresh ingredients. The bar has awesome cocktails with or without alcohol as well as a selection of beers, fresh fruit juices and more.
In Magic Oceans Resort’s super-sized dive centre every diver gets their own spot where you can hang all your gear to dry and have a box for smaller items. In the wet area there are 3 showers and 5 large rinse tanks for all the dive gear and cameras. The resort also has a dedicated camera area with electricity, good lighting and airguns.
When diving with Magic Oceans there are three boats to choose from, the two larger boats come fully equipped with a dry area and an enclosed toilet. All three of the boats offer refreshments between dives such as tea, coffee, water and fresh local fruit. For photographers there are also fresh water rinse tanks onboard all the boats.
Anda has 16km of diving coast to offer plus a sandbank, Lamanok Island and several diving day trips. The options include muck diving, walls covered with healthy corals, sandy slopes, small caves, mangroves and sandy bottoms full of life. The marine life varies from Pygmy Seahorses, Nudibranchs, schools of fish, passing Whale Shark and even an occasional Manta Ray!
