Rocio del Mar is a 200 ton stiff steel vessel perfect for the open ocean crossing to the Socorro Islands. Her oversize engines are designed to operate at low working loads with high efficiency, producing less engine noise and vibration at normal cruising speed. Deep V hull design and wave breaking bow knuckle to minimize surface wave action against the hull as the Rocio Del Mar moves forward through the sea. Rocio del Mar can accommodate 20 guests in 10 comfortable cabins on two decks.
All cabins are carpeted and air conditioned, and have private bathrooms with hot showers. There are room length windows with privacy curtains and convenient gear and clothes storage drawers beneath the beds. There are two cabins on the upper deck behind the bridge on the port and starboard side. Each features a full size lower bed and a single size bed on top with adjustable reading lights. The remaining eight cabins are on the main deck – four on the port and starboard side. Six cabins feature two single beds – one lower bed and one upper bed set perpendicular to each other. Two cabins feature a double bed with lots of storage space underneath. Adjustable reading lights to focus the illumination without disturbing your cabin-mate. Rocio del Mar’s spacious dining area is in the lower forward part of the boat to minimize any sense of movement during meals. Wet gear storage is available on the diving deck, so there is no need to lug gear or clutter your stateroom with it.

Socorro Islands 10 day itinerary
Day 1 – Board the boat in San Jose del Cabo at 5pm, dinner onboard at 7pm and depart for the Socorro Islands later that evening!
Day 2 – Sailing to the Socorro Islands!
Day 3 – 4 dives at San Benedicto.
Day 4 – 3 dives at Roca Partida.
Day 5 – 3 dives at Roca Partida.
Day 6 – 3 dives at Socorro Island.
Day 7 – 4 dives at Socorro Island.
Day 8 – 3 dives at San Benedicto. The boat will then start the journey back to San Jose del Cabo.
Day 9 – Sailing to San Jose del Cabo.
Day 10 – Disembark Rocio del Mar after breakfast.
Sea of Cortez – Midriff Islands 8 day itinerary
Day 1 – Board the boat at Puerto Penasco by 5pm and depart at 6pm.
Day 2 – Wake up at Refugio Bay on Angel Island. Potential Dive sites: Angel Rock, La Vela, Lolo’s Cove, El Jardin. Sunset zodiak cruise with Sea Lions.
Day 3 – Angel Island. Potential Dive sites: Andrea’s Eagle, El Aquario, Las Vivoras, Las Vivoras Night Dive.
Day 4 – San Pedro Martir. Potential Dive sites: El Arroyo, Punta Martir (Sea Lions), Chayo’s Cove.
Day 5 – San Pedro Martir. Potential Dive sites: Ravijunco, Xareni’s Pinnacle, Coromel, Morrito. In the afternoon we go looking for Whales!
Day 6 – Salsipuedes & Animas. Potential Dive sites: Los Cuervos, El Caballo, El Lavadero, El Lavadero Night Dive.
Day 7 – Baja and Snorkeling with Whale Sharks in Bahia de los Angeles. Potential Dive sites: El Pescador, Baja Ca. Start to head back to Puerto Penasco in the afternoon.
Day 8 – Disembark Rocio del Mar around 7am.
